PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

This position supports the company's philosophy of patient centered care by coordinating excellent customer service to patients.

Job/Position Specific Duties

  • Answers the telephone and disburses calls in a friendly, prompt and professional manner. Conveys messages accurately and appropriately.

  • Coordinates Patient, Medical and Insurance records in a timely manner to ensure prompt delivery and payment for medical equipment and supplies.

  • Enters orders accurately and according to defined policies.

  • Handles routine Patient questions as they arise and forwards questions requiring research to the appropriate staff.

  • Pursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals.

  • Adherence to standards of business conduct and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

  • Knowledge of basic computer software, and the ability to learn billing software and electronic medical records required

  • Communicates well with patients and medical staff

  • Prior experience in fast paced service industry or customer service role preferred

  • Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred but not required

RECEPTIONIST/OFFICE ASSISTANT

This position supports the company's philosophy of patient centered care by answering telephone calls and facilitating the appropriate office support in coordinating excellent customer service to patients.

Job/Position Specific Duties

  • Answers all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner demonstrating appropriate customer service.

  • Directs incoming calls appropriately while maintaining confidentiality; taking messages and relaying them in a timely manner.

  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers; resolves any customer requests in a timely and accurate manner; escalates complaints accordingly.

  • Coordinate patient information inquires: Update demographic information, investigate delivery dates, other as applicable.

  • Provide office support functions including organizing, copying/scanning and filing of patient documents. Balancing and coordinating a workload for multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

  • Maintains clean, comfortable, inviting atmosphere of reception area, promoting positive image.

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

The Business Development Coordinator is an essential role in creating and maintaining new and existing business opportunities to grow market share and achieve budgeted business development targets. This role involves fostering working relationships with key referral sources, networking, presentations, detailed documentation, clear communication, problem-solving and organization.

Job/Position Specific Duties

  • Create working relationships with Manufacturing Representatives to increase new referrals.

  • Create working relationships with Diabetic Educators/Doctors’ Offices to increase new referrals.

  • Collaborate on patient files with Manufacturing Representatives/Diabetic Educators/Doctors’ Offices.

  • Identify and execute on new opportunities to expand patient census.

  • Provide input and/or develop, then implement marketing campaigns.

  • Provide input and/or develop, then implement marketing materials.

  • Daily and monthly report maintenance.

  • Perform other work-related duties/projects as assigned.

  • Pursue activities with focus and drive, define work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals/tasks.

  • Answer phone calls and disperse in a friendly, prompt and professional manner. Convey messages accurately and appropriately.

Other Duties

  • Travel 25%-50% in Iowa/South Dakota

  • 10-15 calls (contact via phone, email, zoom or in person) per day / Minimum of 50 calls per week
